BALI

     WELCOME TO MY TRAVEL DIARIES

I've always wanted to share my experiences on going to places that I've never been to (especially in Indonesia. because that's the place which I live in). I'm a rookie to this thing. So, I'm still trying to figure out the features on it, and I apologize for the "untidy" images I post on this blog. Like I said before I'm still a "newbie".

Btw don't forget to leave a comment or a suggestion for me. I'll be very happy if you give me a feedback.

OKAY! LET'S GET STARTED!

Well, this is my second time going to Bali. I love Bali. Not only because of the famous, beautiful and fascinating beaches and other tourist destinations but also the friendly locals they have over there. But you know, I, myself, love going to the beach so much. So, I'm going to tell you the beaches I've visited there.

For those who are planning to go on vacation in Indonesia but confused where to go. Well, first off, you need to know that there are lots of amazing places in Indonesia in which you can visit and also you need to ask yourself what kind of tourist destinations you want to go. Do you like going to the beach, hiking, surfing or diving? or do you want to know the cultures of the country?

I have the answers of those questions ;D

If you like going to the beach or sunbathing, there lots of places where you can go.

In this case, I'm just gonna mention one place. So, stick around because I'm going to post another one in the next chapter.

        BALI

Yes. You're reading it right. Don't be shocked xD Bali is located in Indonesia and it was the location of the American movie entitled "Eat, Pray, Love" starring Julia Roberts. Almost everyone knows about Bali but has no clue where it is and now, you knew :D

I have actually made this blog before on my other blog site, but somehow, it cannot be searched so, I decided to just write it on here just so everyone can read this one and give you a little info by reading this one.

On August, 2017, I spent my summer holiday with my Dutch friend after 5 more years of friendship, we finally met :D (yay). She came to Indo to meet me and also to spend her summer holiday in Indonesia.

There are lots of beautiful beaches in Bali. First off, I'm just gonna tell you some of the beaches which I have visited for instance, Padang-Padang beach, Dreamland Beach or Kuta beach.

If you not only want to sunbathe but also to surf, you can go to Padang-Padang beach. It is one of Bali’s most famous surf spots with the great waves and white sandy stretch 100 meters from the north to the south.
When I went there, there was an international surfing event of 2017 Rip Curl Cup.

Bear in mind, Padang Padang beach and the parking lot area are separated so if you're going there by motorcycles or cars, you'll need to park your vehicles. If your direction is from GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana), the parking lot area is on the right side and you'll have to cross the road and pay for the ticket to get down to the beach and walk down quite a few step stairs. You will pass through a narrow cave with stairs to get to the beach. This small cave is comfortably crossed by only one adult and the other visitors have to queue. But it is worth it when you get down there as the beach is beautiful. There are several large rocks covered with moss of the beach shore, therefore you should be careful when walking and if you do some exploring around the rocks you'll get some nice peaceful views.

You will need to pay before going into Padang Padang. The ticket prices for adult tourists and locals are different. I forget the price of the ticket. But I think It's around 5.000 rupiahs for locals and 10.000 rupiahs for foreign tourists (less than $1).

I suggest you to bring your own food or beverages, because the place which sell food and drink is on the opposite side of the road (which is in the parking lot area) and I guess it will pay through the nose (if you dont mind paying x2 or x3 of the normal price then it wont be a prob for you :P)

There are lots of "mini markets" along the streets, so you can buy food and drink there. Unless you want to drink a pure and unadulterated goodness of a fresh coconut water, then you should buy it on the beach :D

These are the images of Padang Padang beach.
